Gollywood Here I Come by Terry John Barto

When Anamazie isn't twirling a baton, taking an acting class, or attending singing and dance lessons, she fantasizes about being a movie star. One day, after leading the Wattle View School Band in the 4th of July parade, and a few hard knocks, her dream comes true.
Gollywood, here I come! is a success story through the eyes of a young turkey. Take a journey from the small town of Gobbleville to the glamour of Gollywood, as Anamazie becomes a child star.

Before writing his debut children's book, Terry John Barto directed and choreographed more than 200 regional theater productions. In addition, he was the creative mind behind numerous television and cruise ship live shows throughout the world. When Terry John Barto was employed as the creative director for Wings of Dreams Productions, he worked with many diverse ideas and turned them into screenplays for animated films. He also used his experience to help artists develop popular action figures and dolls for several large retailers.

Purchase the book at Amazon in paperback and Kindle edition.

Gollywood Here I Come is the story of a sweet little girl turkey named Anamazie, trying to make it to the red carpet.  The life lesson in this book is to never give up and always follow your dreams.
This was a very cute book with lots of colorful pictures and illustration. The story was sweet and a fun read. My 8 year old daughter really enjoyed it. I have read a lot of children's books and this one is right up there with the best. Lots of fun will be had reading this book and I think it is great for both boys and girls.
Go have fun and enjoy a great book for your kiddos!
I received a copy of this book from the Book Club Network in exchange for my personal review. A positive review was not required.
