Tuesday Tidbits

So I'm a tad bit late on my post this evening.
Another busy week has been had again! School and normal everyday stuff plus a fun mommy-daughter date night on Saturday. Then, of course the Super Bowl!

So, Saturday my girls and I went with a church group to an amazingly fun, just for girls outing. We went to an event called Secret Keeper Girl. This event is for girls ages 8-12 and focuses on modesty, purity, self worth and being unique in todays be like everybody else culture.

The theme was Crazy Hair Night as you can see!

Secret Keeper Girl was started by author Dannah Gresh.
Dannah's best-selling titles include And the Bride Wore White and 2010's best-selling CBA youth book, Lies Young Women Believe co-authored with Nancy Leigh DeMoss and most recently Six Ways to Keep The Little in Your Girl and Six Ways To Keep the Good in Your Boy. She has long been at the forefront of the movement to encourage tweens and teens to be modest and to pursue purity. In addition to Pure Freedom, which hosts live events for teens and creates resources for individual and group use, she is the founder of Secret Keeper Girl, a live tour event for tween girls and their moms.

We had so much fun! I think this is a fabulous way for moms and daughters to connect and spend time with each other as well as worship Jesus and study his word together. I am so glad I had the opportunity to take my girls.

Ok, so Sunday was church and also the BIG game. Our church had a Super Bowl party Sunday night. We had Bible study, food, fellowship and watching an awesome game.
