I have always been a fan of a good mystery. Now as an adult I am a sucker for a good suspense. Lucky for me Colleen's books are usually both. The also have a fair amount of romance without going to over board with the gushy stuff.

One of the funny things about reading this book was how my two girls reacted to the book. You see, I downloaded this book from my library digital program to make it easier to get it read while I was out and about.

So, we listen to these audio books on our way to town for groceries or whatever. They LOVED this book. As a matter of fact, they have loved the last two books that I listened to by Colleen.  So suffice it to say it's a winner.

Here is what I thought......

I really enjoyed this book. I liked the characters. These characters are ones I have come to really enjoy because of reading the other books. I like the setting of the Maine coast.

I enjoyed the suspense of this novel. I also seem to figure out part of the big secret of the story but Colleen always manages to throw me a curve ball to keep me guessing. I can't think of anything negative about the book that stuck out to me or bothered me. This is a good book that I would recommend to anyone. I received this book for free from the Fiction Guild. A positive review was not required. All opinions are my own.
