Here are my thoughts.....
I loved this Bible! So beautiful even without all the illustrations colored in. I love that there is also margins to take notes. I have always loved the HCSB translation so that was an added plus to this Bible. I got this Bible to use during devotion time as a way to concentrate on the scriptures I was reading. I liked how almost every page has designs/lines for notetaking. Most of the drawings are beautifully done, but there are some drawings in the Bible that seemed weird to me. They seem a bit Hindu religion inspired and were not my favorite. Anytime a person is drawn in the Bible it is done in an odd way and there were circles on their cheeks. I am not familiar with Eastern mysticism but I would definitely do my research before I purchased this Bible. I am giving this Bible 3 stars because I love the HCSB, the cover is nice and I like the way it is laid out. I am just not crazy about all of the illustrations.
