The Fireman's Secret by Jessica Keller

Rekindling Her Life

After the fire that injured her and burned down Goose Harbor's only church fourteen years ago, Shelby Beck is planning to rebuild--the structure and her life. But her wounds have always caused her to keep men at a distance. When Joel Palermo returns to town as a fireman and is assigned to help Shelby raise funds for the new construction, she's surprised at how easy it is to get close to her brother's old friend. Could he be the man she'll finally trust enough to let in? Or will the bond they've built go up in flames, when Joel's own scars are revealed?

Jessica KellerBiography

A Starbucks drinker, avid reader, semi-professional fangirl, and chocolate aficionado, Jessica spends way too much time on Tumblr and Twitter. She writes both Young Adult Fiction and Inspirational Romance.

As a child Jessica possessed the dangerous combination of too much energy coupled with an over-active imagination. This pairing led to more than seven broken bones, countless scars, and plenty of story ideas.

Oddly enough, she's worked as a zookeeper, a librarian, camp counselor, horse wrangler, housekeeper, and finance clerk, but now loves her full-time work for a local municipality. As far as writing goes, she dreams on paper late into the night while the rest of the world sleeps.

Jessica lives in the Midwest with her amazing husband and very giggly daughter. To learn more about Jessica Keller please visit www.jessicakellerbooks.com

 My Thoughts
Jessica has done it again. I actually am reading the Goose Harbor series backwards. I just read the third one recently and really enjoyed it. I then received the second one to read and it is just as good as the third. I enjoy books that are in a series but can also be read as a stand alone. Being able to read it as a stand alone means you won't be confused by the storyline or the characters in the book. I am a big fan of Jessica and she just keeps giving me awesome books to read. Each time I read a book by Jessica I am even more impressed than the first time. I have enjoyed this series and would love to read book one and any more she will write.
