The Women Who Met Jesus by Dorothy Valcarcel

Though they seem worlds apart from us, the women of New Testament times had similar heartaches and desires. They too experienced ambition, worry, brokenness, loneliness, and insecurity. They may have wondered how some unusual man from Galilee could possibly understand their needs. And then they met him.

Rather than trivializing their problems or ignoring women, Jesus responded to their deepest needs. He reminded them of their value and transformed their past, present, and future. This engaging book recounts eighteen of their powerful true stories and shows that when a woman encounters Jesus, she cannot help but be changed forever.

Here is what I thought....
This was an interesting book.  I enjoyed each of the different stories and studies in each chapter.  Going through each story and reading the verses was a very interesting way to study.  I enjoyed using this during my morning bible study.  I would recommend this book for anyone looking for a good addition to their bible study time.  I received this book from the publisher for free.  A positive review was not required.  All opinions are my own.
