Biography

A Massachusetts native, Michelle DeRusha moved to Nebraska in 2001, where she discovered the Great Plains, grasshoppers the size of Cornish hens ... and God. She writes about finding and keeping faith in the everyday at michellederusha.com, as well as for the Lincoln Journal Star, Prodigal Magazine and The High Calling.

Michelle earned a Bachelor's Degree in English from the University of Massachusetts and a Master's Degree in English from the University of Connecticut. She worked as a magazine writer and editor in New York City, a PR and marketing specialist for a community college and a fundraiser for PBS and NPR before settling down into her career and calling as a writer.

She's mom to two bug-loving boys, Noah and Rowan, and is married to Brad, an English professor who reads Moby Dick for fun.

This is a very interesting book. It has a whole lot of facts and thoughts about this very famous couple. It is a very technical read. It's not a book that you could read in one sitting. But it does have some very interesting things to learn. I enjoy reading books like this because they talk about real people. This book may not be a quick read but it is fascinating and very engaging. I have enjoyed reading this book and I think any history or biography buff would really enjoy it. Might even be a good addition to the homeschoolers library. I received this book from Baker Publishing for free. A positive review was not required. All opinions are my own.
