My Thoughts
Such a sweet story! A beautiful telling of the struggles of traumatic brain injury and the impact it has on all involved. I finished this story in one evening. It is a novella, so it is smaller than a normal book but very intriguing and compelling none the less. I truly felt the confusion and the hurt of Arlene, the main character, who has experienced the brain injury. She is a very strong lady, who holds on to her faith even though she is unsure of everything else. I did at times get a little confused with what was happening but I felt like that added to me understanding the character and her struggles. This sweet book brought tears to my eyes and tugged at my heart strings. The ending most definitely made my eyes tear up.
I highly recommend this book, You won't be disappointed. I was blessed with a copy of this book by Barbour Publishing in exchange for my review. A positive review was not required.
