A Secret Courage by Tricia Goyer

Duty Brought Them TogetherWill Secrets Destroy Their Love?
American Emma Hanson came to England to study at Oxford, but joined the Women's Auxiliary Air Force at the height of World War II. She is stationed at beautiful and historic Danesfield House west of London as part of the highly secretive Photographic Reconnaissance Unit.

Englishman Will Fleming is a handsome young artist who has been commissioned by the British government to record the changing landscape in paintings. His path intersects with Emma's when his real mission—tracking Nazi spies—leads him to Danesfield House, the target of a sinister plot.

Emma and Will become friends, but neither can reveal the true nature of their assignment. Can their relationship grow amid such secrecy? And can Will save Danesfield House—and Emma and her coworkers—before it's too late?

About the Author

Ok Y'all I know this is somewhat redundant but I love WW2. I know I say it all the time, but I do. And if this isn't one of the best WW2 novels I've ever read, I don't know what is. Tricia is officially a new favorite author and I can't wait for the next one in the series.

Here is what I thought...
I loved this book. I loved each character except for the bad guy but I'm pretty sure that's the idea. I have to say that at the climax of the book I was completely surprised by what happened. Tricia writes beautifully and the book is very easy to read and understand. It isn't confusing even when it takes you from one person to the other. I loved the setting in the English countryside. I enjoyed the different WW2 perspective. I haven't read a lot of WW2 fiction with an emphasis on England. I am very eagerly anticipating the next book in this series. I was given a copy of this book for free by the author. A positive review was not required. All opinions are my own.
