Keep Holding On by Melissa Tagg

Swoon-worthy Romance. Small-town Charm.
Best friends reunite in Tagg's latest novel of second chances and enduring love.
Beckett Walker hasn't stepped foot in Maple Valley in years. There's no getting past the painful memories, and there's every chance he'll be arrested as soon as he shows his face. Which is exactly what happens when he finally returns. Suddenly his dream of adventure as a military lawyer comes skidding to a halt.
Horticulturist Kit Danby has spent too much time missing home and her childhood best friend--Beckett Walker. Now she might have a shot at reclaiming both. After years of living abroad, she returns to run her family's apple orchard. She has one season to turn a profit and impress the father she barely knows. But she can't do it alone.
It should be simple: Beckett needs community service hours. Kit needs a helping hand. But there's more at stake than either of them planned. With a tangled past and futures that look nothing alike, they'll have to find a way to weather the storms of the present . . . or risk losing everything.

Here is what I thought......

Be still my heart! I cannot believe how good this book is. Every time I read a book by Melissa I say it's the best one yet. Well guess what?! It's the best one yet! This book has so much reality in it you almost forget these characters aren't real. The human emotion in this book also makes it hard to believe that it isn't real life. I fell in love with Beckett on page one. Be ready ladies to be completely useless for several hours as you dive in. I love Beckett's spontaneity and what some might call recklessness. Kit is the perfect opposite to Beckett's wild heart and makes for a page-turner of a read. I so love the Walker family, I really can't help myself. They are the family everybody wants. The "perfect" everything, Dad, brothers and sisters, only they aren't perfect and that's what makes them lovable and relatable. And of course if Maple Valley were any cuter I'd dive right in the book so I could live there. Melissa amazes me in every book with the humor and the relatability of each character. Honestly people, the Walker family are my new best friends and I'm not ashamed of it. Now to patiently wait to learn the complicated mind of Reagan Walker. I must admit I don't know the date for it and I already know it's too long. Romance, Family and Maple Valley. What more could you ask for? Come on, dive in, you know you want to!
I received this book for free from the author. a positive review was not required. All opinions expressed are my own.
