Bossy Flossy by Paulette Bogan-- GIVEAWAY

Flossy is the bossiest girl around. She's bossy at home and she's bossy in school. She's bossy with her friends, and sometimes she's even bossy to her teacher! Well-meaning Flossy doesn't understand why no one will listen to her.
Then Flossy meets Edward, a boy who is just as bossy as Flossy. But the collision of these two strong-willed forces has a surprising result: they learn how to be a friend.

She lives in New York City with her husband, three daughters, and two dogs. They ALL think she is STILL bossy. But they've never told her to go to her room!

Here are my thoughts.......
This is a cute children's book with lots of fun colors and designs and A somewhat good message in the end. Bossy Flossy is just that, Bossy. She is mean and pretty much a brat. She can't seem to understand why everyone thinks she is bossy, until she meets a new friend. This new friend is just as bossy as she is and she doesn't like it.
This book was ok. I did like the illustrations and colorful pictures. But I didn't like how Flossy was never taught why it wasn't nice to be bossy. I felt like the story was missing the teaching part. The part where the child who reads it would be able to understand the moral of the story. My two girls are a little older than the target audience, but they read it and their only opinion was "she was really bossy."  Overall this is a cute children's book that might get kids to see that being bossy isn't fun or kind. I received this book from iReads book tours in exchange for an honest review. A positive review was not required.
