Here is what I thought.......
I LOVED this book. It was such an emotional read. I found myself near tears several times while reading. WWII era is my favorite time period to read about. I think this might be one of my most favorite in this time period. This book had the perfect blend of mystery, romance and emotion. I found myself staying up at night to read because I couldn't put it down. Cathy's writing style is brilliant! I was drawn in very quickly and didn't want it to stop. I will say the ending surprised me. I totally thought she was going a different direction than she did. This was a fabulous read and I have already added more of Cathy's work to my to read list. I was blessed with a copy of this book from the publisher and TBCN in exchange for an honest review. A positive review was not required.
