Love Everlasting by Tracie Peterson

Abrianna Cunningham has always viewed her longtime friend, Wade Ackerman, as
a protective brother. Lately, however, she's begun to see him differently and finds
herself attracted romantically to him. But she's confused and overwhelmed by these
unfamiliar feelings.

Wade, on the other hand, has loved Abrianna for some time and has been waiting for her to realize they are more than just friends. When he asks her to marry him, she asks for time to adjust to their changed relationship.

And then there's Priam Welby, who has been relentlessly pursuing Abrianna. Will his underhanded tactics succeed in luring Abrianna into marriage with him?

My Thoughts
I tried really hard to get into this book. I read several chapters and just could not make myself fall in love with this book. My typical reading style is books that are not terribly wordy and I found that this book was a tad bit wordy. It has lots of big words that may have been how people talked way back then but I think it makes the flow of the book hard to get. This is the third book in the series and although I didn't read the other two books first, I did alright with the back story. The main problem that I had not reading the other two books is I felt like there was a ton of stuff that was wrapped up in all of the characters that I didn't know. I wasn't confused, I was just left wondering about everything that had happened before. So, my recommendation is to read the other two books first for that reason only. I loved the front cover. It was very pretty and match the description perfectly of the main character. I did not enjoy the main character of the book. She seemed whiney instead of concerned which is what I think the author was going for. I actually would like to read the other two books in the series, because their characters are present in this book and they seemed interesting. While this book wasn't my favorite, I would like to try another book by Tracie.
I received this book from Bethany House in exchange for my review. A positive review was not required.
